SITAS is now a ISO 9001:2008 certified firm. SITAS has recently bagged a order for carrying out Radiographic test on 8 nos horton spheres in Cairo, Egypt using the panoramic method, the first of its kind in Egypt. SITAS recently inaugurated its new NDT and casting upgradation facility in Coimbatore with two enclosures to operate 100 curie Co-60 isotopes.This facility is rated as one of the biggest in the whole country spread over 2 acres.The construction of two more enclosures to operate 60 curie Ir-192 isotope and Fettling area is in progress. SITAS has commenced the construction of its new laboratory in Shimoga, the hub for steel foundries in Karnataka.
